Master Poya Rostami Biography

The honorable Master Poya Rostami as the third generation of  his Martial Arts family heritage began training in gymnastic at age of 6 years old. He proceeded to get his trainings in martial arts such as KIOKOSHIN, WING TSUN, KUNG FU, KIKBOXING and IADIO under his father's supervision Dr. Ali Rostami who is the founder of International Self Defense & Martial Arts Association (ISDMAA) and Iranian Intelligent Self Defense (IISD).


After 20 years of experience in martial arts and winning national and international championships, Master Poya Rostami ranked the president of IISD,IPBA, representative of Jiu Jitsu International in Southeast Asia .



Achievement:

-The holder of bachelor degree of Drama (Performing Arts) from University of Malaya
-The first-place winner of SHOLIN QUAN WUSHU Championships in 2004, Iran.
-The first-place winner of KATA IADO SAMURAI SWORD Championships in 2005, Iran.
-The second-placed winner of Cold Weapon Performances in 2005, Iran.
-The third-placed winner of Acrobatic movements (gymnastics) in 2005, Iran.
-The first-place winner of KIOKOSHIN open competition tournaments in 2008, Turkey.
-The holder of the first-degree international instructorship certificate in self-defense from Turkey.
-The holder of Dan 2 in KIOKOSHIN in 2006, Turkey.
-The holder of Dan 3 in KIOKOSHIN in 2006, Turkey.
-The holder of Dan 3 international Super Contact from Iran in 2004.
-The holder of the first-degree instructorship certificate in ISDS 2007.
-The holder of the first-degree instructorship certificate in MI FANG JIN in 2007.
-The holder of the first-degree instructorship certificate in KIKBOXING form Islamic Republic of Iran’s Federation in 2008
-The holder of 3 Dan Seitei iaido from Jiu Jitsu International
-The holder of 4 Dan Jiu Jitsu International
-The holder of 5 Dan ISDS
- The holder of the first-degree instructorship certificate in CPO
- The holder of the first-degree instructorship certificate in MMA
- The holder of Master degree in Close Protection training and Self Defense from Istanbul university of Turkey
